Datalogic V-LASE Solid-state Marking Laser

The V-LASE laser series combines long-term manufacturing experience with the high performance of diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser sources and the flexibility of modern control units. This combination has resulted in a laser built on proven technology, tailored to meet the most demanding requirements of the digital industry. It utilizes cutting-edge semiconductor laser diode technology, delivering excellent beam quality, high peak power, and short pulse width.

VLASE IR marking laser

An air-cooled solid-state laser operating at a wavelength of 1064 nm, with an average power output of 10 or 20 W. The excellent beam quality and suitability for a wide range of materials are among the key advantages of the VLASE infrared marking laser.

Suitable for marking

Metals – steel, stainless steel, iron, titanium, carbide, brass, (bare, coated, anodized)

Marking of coloured plastics

Marking of thermoplastics (ABS, PP, PES, PET, PPMA)

VLASE GREEN marking laser

It is based on the VLASE-IR platform, which maximizes system efficiency through the use of additional crystals. Its wavelength is half that of standard solid-state and fiber lasers, resulting in a smaller heat-affected zone, a smaller spot size, and higher resolution. This laser source offers significant advantages when marking materials such as plastics that do not react well to infrared wavelengths.

Suitable for marking

Metals – steel, stainless steel, iron, titanium, carbide, brass, (bare, coated, anodized)

VLASE UV marking laser

It builds on the extensive experience and success of the V-LASE series of solid-state lasers. Using additional crystals and Third Harmonic Generation (THG) opto-mechanical architecture, it shortens the laser wavelength to 355 nm. Compared to lasers with longer wavelengths, the VLASE UV source causes less mechanical damage to the material and minimizes heat-affected zones (HAZ). Thanks to the extreme performance of this laser source, it is ideal for demanding marking applications on materials such as glass and plastics in the automotive, medical, aerospace, and electronics industries.

Suitable for marking

Highly stable non-doped plastics

PCB boards and semiconductors

Memory cards

Silicon marking

Epoxy materials

Copper, brass, and other precious and non-ferrous metals

Glass and other transparent materials

Benefits

Solid-state laser technology

The Solid State Laser (SSL) technology is considered the best solution for ensuring high-quality marking with excellent results even in challenging applications, such as highly reflective materials, heat-sensitive materials, or difficult-to-mark plastic components.

High performance, low operating costs = quick payback

Marks even hard-to-mark materials

Low heat footprint – also suitable for sensitive materials
